"We're pleased almost beyond reason to announce that we'll be appearing beneath the twinkling disco ball at Kilburn's lovely Luminaire on Wednesday April 11th, propping up a distinguished bill also including The Cedars and Kris Delmhorst . We'll probably be on around 8:00pmish. Tickets are a tenner on the door or nine quid if you buy 'em here .

Rocking though this is, even rockinger news on the gig front is pending confirmation, so don't be strangers."

Fairfax County Washington, USA is home to 29 percent of the region's tourism assets and 22 percent of its hotel rooms, two facts that seem to get lost when people look to visit the national capital area, according to local officials.

The marketing push will include print advertising with the tag line “Do West of DC” and radio spots featuring the Jesus Jones song “Right Here Right Now.”

NEW - ROBBIE RIVERA V JESUS JONES

Press Release -

‘Right Here’ (Original / Matteo ESSE & Sant / Deepgroove Mixes)

LABEL: Nebula REL: 24th October

F*ck the 80's let's carve up the 90's...
Robbie Rivera arrives at Nebula with a bang with his soon to be massive Jesus Jones sampling ‘Right Here’.

Robbie's talent is recognized across the music industry having remixed everyone from Faithless, Felix Da Housecat, Moloko and Sinead O'Connor to Madonna, Ricky Martin, Kylie Minogue and recently Basement Jaxx... to name an illustrious few!!!

‘Right Here’ draws on the classic bass heavy house Rivera sound combined with a killer sample from 90's skater-pop-rockers Jesus Jones who hit the UK no.1 spot with there album Doubt, that featured Right Here, Right Now, going gold overnight, the single hitting no.2 in
the USA and the album selling over a million copies.

On remix duty is Matteo ESSE & Sant from Italy whose recent remix credits include Armand van Helden and Basement Jaxx, with a more melodic house work out that retains the energy of the original but adds a sunshine feel.

Hot UK outfit Deepgroove have also been drafted in to remix Right Here and deliver their own electro tinged, driving bass rub.

MIKES OTHER PROJECTS FLINGFLANG UPDATED 29/9/04

Two more SHEsongs songs are up now - Dirty Music and Boom Boom !!

Flingflang is the umbrella term for a few projects that Mike is undertaking. The first one up is SHESongs (Mike, Ben, Michelle Stephenson) where you can listen/purchase/rate/review four tracks and the second one is Oojah........

Oojah, another post-Yoshi project featuring SHEsongs and Yoshi songwriting partner Ben Hackett have an EPs worth of songs about to go online. With co-writer and singer Vicky Taylor Roberts they have written and produced two songs, After All These Years and Living Without You Baby.
A third song, Queen and King should follow once it is mixed.

The track "In Control" has now been sold to a publishing company in Germany.

Oojah’s music is quite different to the SHEsongs EP, much less pop and more of a “band” effort.

Also available will be an Oojah remix of Vicky’s You’ll never know, taken from her solo album which you can find more about here (www.wistfulrecords.co.uk).

Check it out at http://www.flingflang.co.ukAt only $1.60/80p a track its a bargain! Help support Mikes' other projects so he'll continue to make music !!

There is also a new Oojah photo on the Oojah mini-site.
